Technical description

The LM3404HV operates from 6-75V and integrates a high-side N-channel MOSFET. It supports PWM dimming, low-power shutdown, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, thermal shutdown and open-LED protection. Output is regulated as constant current using external components.

Indicative applications

Suitable for automotive lighting, industrial LED lighting, architectural lighting, high-power LED strings and DC LED drivers.

Compatibility note

It is not a conventional voltage regulator. The output is a constant-current buck stage and inductor, sense resistor and switching-frequency design must follow the datasheet.
