The Texas Instruments LMD18200T 55V 3A H-Bridge Motor Driver 6A Peak TO-220-11 is an integrated full H-bridge driver for DC motors and motion-control applications, with 3A continuous output and supply up to 55V.

Technical description

The LMD18200 delivers up to 3A continuous and 6A peak, with internal clamp diodes, current-sense output, direction, brake and PWM control. It provides a thermal warning around 145°C and thermal shutdown around 170°C.

Indicative applications

Suitable for DC motors, stepper-motor stages, robotics, actuators, positioning systems and industrial motion control.

Compatibility note

Rated operating supply is up to 55V, not the 60V absolute maximum. Proper heatsinking, decoupling and high-current PCB layout are required.
