The Texas Instruments LM335 Precision Analog Temperature Sensor 10mV/K -40 to +100°C is an analog temperature sensor calibrated directly in Kelvin with a 10mV/K scale factor.

Technical description

The LM335 operates electrically as a temperature-dependent zener and produces a voltage proportional to absolute temperature. It operates at approximately 400uA to 5mA, has less than 1Ohm dynamic impedance and a -40°C to +100°C temperature range.

Indicative applications

Suitable for thermometers, monitoring, temperature compensation, control circuits, alarms and industrial measurement.

Compatibility note

The output is 10mV per Kelvin and is not referenced to 0V at 0°C. At 25°C, output voltage is approximately 2.98V.
