Technical description

The LM293 operates from 2-36V or +/-1 to +/-18V, has an input common-mode range including ground and typical propagation delay around 0.7us for the classic LM293-N version. Industrial temperature range is -25°C to +85°C.

Indicative applications

Suitable for industrial sensing, threshold detection, level control, battery monitoring, zero crossing and logic interfacing.

Compatibility note

The open-collector output requires a pull-up resistor. LM293 provides a wider temperature grade than commercial LM393.
