SigmaS-PROX

The SIGMA S-PROX is a surface-mount RFID card reader for external operation of S-PRO alarm systems, featuring system status indications and tamper protection.

Technical description

The reader electronics are embedded in a special protective material, allowing outdoor installation with protection against water and dust. It connects to the alarm panel S-BUS and includes a base tamper for detecting removal from the wall.

Tri-colour LEDs indicate the status of the system partitions. The reader supports simultaneous full arming, perimeter arming or disarming of partitions and provides one PGM output that can be assigned to a control panel PGM.

The device is automatically recognised by the S-PRO panel and reports peripheral loss if the connection wiring is cut or short-circuited. Up to 4 S-PROX readers can be connected to each control panel.

Typical applications

Suitable for entrances of homes, shops, offices and commercial premises requiring alarm operation by RFID card or key fob outside the protected area.

Compatibility note

Compatible exclusively with SIGMA S-PRO alarm control panels. Available in white and black versions.
