The Optosea FIBER-G652D/2 FC/APC Singlemode G.652.D 9/125um Fiber Optic Pigtail 2m is a 2m single-mode fiber pigtail with an FC/APC connector pre-terminated on one end and bare fiber on the other for splicing.

Technical description

The pigtail uses 9/125um G.652.D single-mode fiber. The pigtail configuration enables rapid termination of an optical line by fusion or mechanical splice while retaining a factory-terminated FC/APC connector on the equipment side.

Indicative applications

Suitable for ODFs, optical patch panels, distribution boxes, FTTH/FTTx, CATV, LAN/WAN and telecommunications installations.

Compatibility note

FC/APC uses angled APC polish and must be connected to a compatible FC/APC interface. The free end is intended for splicing and is not a second connector.
