The Optosea EFB-10 2.5mm Fiber Optic Foam Swabs for SC FC ST Tube of 50 is a set of 50 foam swabs with 2.5mm cleaning head for fiber-optic ferrules, sleeves and adapters.

Technical description

EFB-10 is a 2.5mm fiber-cleaning swab format intended for connectors using 2.5mm ferrules. The foam head allows controlled cleaning of internal sleeves and connector surfaces without conventional cotton lint.

Indicative applications

Suitable for SC, FC and ST connectors, ODFs, patch panels, fiber installation and maintenance work.

Compatibility note

The 2.5mm size is not suitable for 1.25mm LC/MU ferrules. Use an approved fiber-optic cleaning fluid when wet cleaning is required and do not reuse a contaminated swab.
