The Fairchild Semiconductor MM74HC245AWM Octal Bidirectional Bus Transceiver 3-State 2-6V SOIC-20 is an 8-bit bidirectional CMOS bus transceiver with 3-state outputs, direction control and output-enable control.

Technical description

The MM74HC245A operates from 2V to 6V and provides eight bidirectional channels between A and B buses. DIR and OE pins control transfer direction and the high-impedance output state. The AWM version uses a wide SOIC-20 package.

Indicative applications

Suitable for data buses, microprocessor interfaces, logic-level buffering, memory buses and digital-line isolation.
