OEMHL-409

The OEM HL-409 is a high-to-low level signal converter for connecting an external car amplifier to a factory or aftermarket head unit that has no RCA preamplifier output. It converts speaker-level audio to a lower level suitable for an RCA amplifier input and provides adjustable output level.

Technical description

The HL-409 connects to the source speaker outputs and provides a low-level signal for a power-amplifier input. Adjustable output level allows matching to the amplifier input sensitivity.

Suitable for adding a power amplifier or subwoofer to a car audio system when the factory head unit provides speaker outputs only and no RCA pre-out.
