The MEDER SIL24-1A72-71L Reed Relay 24VDC SPST-NO 1.25A 200V 290mW SIL is a compact SIL-series reed relay with a 24VDC coil and 1 Form A SPST-NO contact for signal switching, measurement, communications and security applications.

Technical description

The MEDER SIL24-1A72-71L, now part of Standex Electronics, has a 24VDC coil with 2kΩ resistance and approximately 290mW coil consumption. It uses an SPST-NO contact with up to 1.25A contact current and up to 200VAC or 200VDC switched voltage. Contact resistance is up to approximately 0.15Ω. The 71L version has no protection diode. The relay is fully sealed, through-hole PCB mounted and measures approximately 19.2x5.08x7.62mm.

Indicative applications

Suitable for measurement instruments, test equipment, telecommunications, security systems, signal routing and compact PCB circuits requiring galvanic isolation with a reed contact.

Compatibility note

SIL24-1A72-71L does not include a protection diode, unlike the 71D version. Before replacement, verify the 24VDC coil, pinout, SPST-NO contact configuration, switching load and available PCB space.
