The Linear Technology LT1084CT Adjustable Low-Dropout Regulator 5A TO-220 is a 5A adjustable positive low-dropout linear regulator for high-current supplies requiring low dropout voltage.

Technical description

The LT1084 is the 5A member of the LT1083/LT1084/LT1085 family. The CT version uses a 3-pin TO-220 package and specifies maximum dropout of about 1.5V at full rated current under datasheet conditions.

Indicative applications

Adjustable linear supplies, post-regulation, bench power supplies and repair of high-current regulator circuits.
