The Hikvision DS-PDP18-EG2 PET is a wired passive infrared PIR detector for indoor use, offering up to 18m detection range and a wide coverage angle of approximately 85.9-90 degrees. It features digital signal processing, 3D optics, digital temperature compensation, sealed optics to reduce insect interference and pet immunity function, depending on correct installation and sensitivity adjustment.

Technical description

The DS-PDP18-EG2 PET operates from 9-16VDC and includes High, Auto and Low sensitivity settings. Detection coverage reaches up to 18m, with 84 zones and 7 detection levels, plus creep-zone protection for coverage close to the detector. It supports onboard EOL resistors for alarm and tamper wiring, allowing easier adaptation to different alarm control panels.
