The Gewiss GW44217 44 CE IP56 IK08 Enclosure 190x140x140mm with Smooth Walls and Deep Lid is a Gewiss 44 CE enclosure with smooth walls, 190x140x140mm dimensions, IP56 protection, IK08 impact resistance and a deep screwed lid.

Technical description

GW44217 is made from halogen-free GWPLAST 75 technopolymer in RAL 7035 grey. Its smooth walls allow controlled drilling of entries up to O37mm; the enclosure uses a deep screwed lid secured by 4 insulating sealable hinged screws. It provides Class II insulation and an installation temperature range of -25°C to +60°C.

Typical applications

Protection of electrical connections, terminal blocks and compact equipment where custom positioning and sizing of cable entries is required.

Compatibility note

Before drilling any openings, verify the required diameters and use cable glands or accessories with a suitable sealing rating. Machining of the smooth walls and final installation must be carried out so that the required IP56 protection is maintained.
