The FCL FUJITSU FBR53ND12-Y-HW is a compact high-power automotive PCB relay with a 12VDC coil and one normally open Form U (Form A) contact. The HW version is designed for currents up to 40A and high inrush loads in vehicle applications.

Technical description

The FBR53ND12-Y-HW features a plastic sealed enclosure, silver-tin oxide contacts and a 40A at 14VDC contact rating, with inrush capability up to 80A. The 12VDC coil has approximately 167Ohm resistance and approximately 0.86W power consumption. The series operates from -40 to +125°C and uses a compact body of approximately 15.7x12.3x14.0mm.

Typical applications

Suitable for automotive electronic boards, motors, fans, pumps, heating loads, lighting and other high-current DC circuits.

Compatibility note

Before replacement, verify the 12VDC coil voltage, SPST-NO/Form U arrangement, PCB footprint and the continuous and inrush current requirements of the connected load.
