FORWARD INDUSTRIAL CORELAY FRC2C-DC12

The FORWARD FRC2C-DC12 is a high-current automotive electromagnetic relay with a 12VDC coil and SPDT changeover contact. It provides a maximum contact current of 50A and is designed for power control in vehicles and other DC circuits.

Technical description

The FRC2C-DC12 has a rated resistive load of 40A at 14VDC, a coil voltage range of 7.8 to 15.6VDC, 80Ohm coil resistance, 150mA coil current and 1.8W coil power consumption. Contacts use AgSnO2 material, maximum switching voltage is 75VDC and the operating temperature range is -40 to +85°C.

Typical applications

Suitable for lighting, fans, pumps, motors, heating loads, horns and general high-current automotive applications.

Compatibility note

Before replacement, verify the SPDT arrangement, 12VDC coil voltage, socket/base, terminal layout and the required load current.
