Technical description

Energizer 123, part EL123AP, uses lithium/manganese dioxide (Li-MnO2) chemistry and corresponds to IEC CR17345 / ANSI 5018LC. Each cell has a typical weight of 16.5g, maximum dimensions of approximately 17.0x34.5mm, maximum continuous discharge of 1500mA and pulse discharge up to 3500mA. The official datasheet specifies operation from -40°C to +60°C and an integrated PTC safety device.

Indicative applications

Suitable for cameras, flash units, high-power torches, smart-home devices, sensors, security systems, night-vision equipment and other applications requiring a 3V CR123/CR123A battery.

Compatibility note

Energizer 123 replaces CR123, CR123A, CR17345, EL123 and 5018LC where device requirements match. It is not rechargeable and should not be replaced by RCR123A/16340 unless the device manufacturer explicitly supports it. Package contains 2 batteries.
