Technical description

The cell uses alkaline manganese chemistry, IEC size LR9, measures 15.6x6.2mm and weighs approximately 3.4g. V625U and PX625A are commonly used commercial references for the modern 1.5V alkaline version.

Suitable for light meters, older cameras, measuring instruments and other devices designed for a 1.5V 625A / LR625A alkaline battery.

Compatibility note

Important: the historical mercury PX625 cell had a nominal voltage of about 1.35V. PX625A / LR625A is a 1.5V alkaline battery and is not electrically identical in equipment calibrated around the older reference voltage. Verify device requirements before replacement.
