The Atmel ATtiny26-16PU is a high-performance 8-bit AVR microcontroller operating at up to 16MHz, with 2KB ISP Flash, 128 bytes EEPROM and 128 bytes SRAM in a through-hole PDIP-20 package.

Technical description

The ATtiny26 is based on the AVR RISC architecture and provides 118 instructions, 32 general-purpose working registers and performance up to 16 MIPS at 16MHz. It integrates 16 programmable I/O lines, a 10-bit ADC, two 8-bit Timer/Counters, Universal Serial Interface, analog comparator, watchdog timer and an internal calibrated RC oscillator.

The integrated ADC provides 11 single-ended channels and 8 differential channels, with seven differential channel pairs supporting programmable 1x or 20x gain. Flash memory can be programmed In-System through the SPI interface.

The ATtiny26-16PU is the version rated for operation up to 16MHz with a 4.5-5.5V supply and PDIP-20 package.
