The Amphenol RJHSE-5080 is a right-angle 8P8C RJ45 modular jack for PCB mounting, suitable for CAT3/5 Ethernet applications. It has eight contacts, through-hole terminals and an unshielded construction without integrated LEDs.

Technical description

The receptacle uses a right-angle, tab-up latch orientation and a black high-temperature UL94V-0 thermoplastic housing. Contacts are phosphor bronze with 1.27μm (50μin) gold plating on mating surfaces and matte tin on solder tails. It is suitable for wave soldering up to 260°C for 5-8s.

Typical applications

Suitable for network interface boards, routers, switches, telecommunications equipment, industrial controllers, embedded systems and devices requiring wired Ethernet connectivity.

Compatibility note

Before replacement, verify the 8P8C configuration, right-angle orientation, PCB footprint, latch position, unshielded/no-LED construction and mechanical dimensions of the existing jack.
