The Accordia TELEDROP is a composite installation cable combining a 75 Ohm Vector SAT 110 RG6 coaxial channel with four additional power/control conductors, 2x0.50mm2 and 2x0.22mm2, for installations requiring RF transmission together with auxiliary circuits.

Technical description

The coaxial section is based on Accordia Vector SAT 110 RG6: 1.10mm solid copper center conductor, 4.80mm skin-foam-skin gas-injected PE insulation, aluminium tape plus tinned-copper braid, 75+/-3 Ohm characteristic impedance and screening class A. The TELEDROP composite construction adds two 0.50mm2 and two 0.22mm2 conductors for power or auxiliary signals.

TV/SAT distribution, installations requiring a common route for RF coaxial signal plus low-voltage power/control conductors, antenna systems and special low-voltage installations.

Compatibility note

The auxiliary conductors must only be used within the voltage/current limits of the installation. The coaxial section is 75 Ohm and requires RG6-compatible connectors and terminations. The auxiliary conductors must not be assumed suitable for direct mains connection without the corresponding certification.
