The Rayex L90S-12W Power Relay SPDT 12VDC 30A 240VAC Sealed PCB is an L90-series electromagnetic power relay with a 12VDC coil, one SPDT / 1 Form C changeover contact, L90S terminal arrangement and sealed enclosure for PCB mounting.

Technical description

The L90S-12W has a 12VDC coil with 155Ohm +/-10% resistance and approximately 0.9W coil power. For resistive loads, the NO contact is rated at 30A/240VAC, 20A/277VAC and 20A/30VDC, while the NC contact is rated at 20A/240VAC, 15A/277VAC and 10A/30VDC. The L90S version uses a different common-terminal / PCB layout from the standard L90. Dielectric strength between elements for the L90S version reaches 2500VAC.

Suitable for power switching in automation, controllers, household appliances, HVAC systems, power supplies and control boards requiring an SPDT relay with a 12VDC coil and high switching capacity.

Compatibility note

The 30A rating applies to the NO contact at 240VAC resistive load. The NC contact has lower allowable ratings. Because L90S uses a different PCB terminal arrangement from standard L90, verify footprint and pinout as well as the 12VDC coil before replacement. Inductive or high-inrush loads require suitable derating.
