HONGFARELAY HFD27/012-S

The Hongfa HFD27/012-S is a subminiature DIP signal relay with 12VDC coil, DPDT / 2 Form C contacts and 2A maximum contact current, suitable for PCBs, control circuits, telecommunication applications and low-power automation systems.

The relay belongs to the Hongfa HFD27 series and features bifurcated contacts for reliable signal switching, AgNi contacts with gold plating and epoxy sealing for compatibility with automatic wave soldering and cleaning processes. The DIP layout allows PCB mounting and compatibility with a matching 16-pin IC socket.

Technical description
The HFD27/012-S features a 12VDC coil, 720Ω coil resistance and approximately 16.7mA coil current. The contact configuration is DPDT / 2 Form C, with 2A maximum contact current. Listed resistive contact ratings are 1A / 125VAC and 2A / 30VDC, with maximum switched voltage of 240VAC or 120VDC.

Compatibility note
Before replacement, 12VDC coil voltage, DPDT / 2 Form C contact configuration, DIP pinout, dimensions, maximum contact current and circuit load must be checked. The HFD27/012-S is a 2A signal relay and should not be used as a power relay for high-current loads.

Usage note
For inductive loads or loads with current peaks, suitable contact protection and surge suppression circuitry should be used. Selection must be based on the actual AC/DC load and not only on the maximum contact rating.
