The SUG-24VDC/DIN is designed to protect electronic devices powered by 24V DC from atmospheric discharges, voltage surges, and sudden increases in voltage that may occur due to damage to the mains power supply. The ability to transmit up to 5A of current expands the range of applications for the device to many industrial automation installations, building automation, and property protection systems. The surge protector is designed for mounting on a 35mm DIN rail. High-quality spring-loaded terminals with a high current load limit the risk of damage during large shock impulses and momentary current overloads. The device occupies the width of one standard DIN module. The product is intended for installation and is recommended for mounting at the boundary between LPZ0 and LPZ1 zones or higher. It can only be used for transmitting 24V DC voltage without any AC component - for example, for fast data transmission. It is connected between the power source (power supply, battery) and the receiving device.
