HERAEUSPT100-1020

The HERAEUS PT100-1020 is a Pt100 RTD temperature sensor, 100Ω at 0°C, with 3850ppm/K temperature coefficient and Class B accuracy, suitable for accurate temperature measurement in electronic, HVAC, industrial and technical applications.

The sensor belongs to the Heraeus Nexensos M 1020 series and is a thin-film platinum RTD element designed for applications requiring stability, repeatability and compact sensor size. The operating temperature range is -70°C to +500°C for continuous operation, with temporary use up to +550°C according to the datasheet.

Technical description
The PT100-1020 is a platinum RTD sensor with 100Ω nominal resistance at 0°C, Class B / F 0.3 tolerance according to DIN EN 60751 / IEC 751 and TCR 3850ppm/K. It features two Pt-clad Ni-wire leads, 10mm ±1mm long, and a compact ceramic body measuring 9.5 x 1.9 x 0.9mm.

Suitable for temperature sensors, measurement circuits, HVAC, white goods, automotive applications, energy management, medical and industrial equipment, PCB thermal monitoring and temperature control systems.

Compatibility note
Before replacement, Pt100 sensor type, 100Ω resistance at 0°C, accuracy class, number of leads, dimensions, temperature range and measuring circuit compatibility must be checked. The PT100-1020 is an RTD sensor, not an NTC, PTC or thermocouple.

Installation note
The element is unhoused and intended for dry environments or integration into suitable mechanical protection. Connection should be made using suitable techniques such as welding, crimping or brazing according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
