The FOD2741 is an optically isolated error amplifier designed to offer a space-saving and highly accurate solution for power supply feedback loops. It integrates a voltage reference, an error amplifier, and an optocoupler into a single 8-pin package. This integration simplifies the design of regulated isolated power supplies, such as SMPS and DC-DC converters. The device features an AlGaAs LED optically coupled to a phototransistor.
