The OEG SBR 440-1 by Officina Elettromeccanica Gottifredi is a motor brake rectifier module for DC electromagnetic brake applications. It operates with a 170-440VAC input voltage and provides a maximum direct current output of 1A, suitable for braking systems in industrial motors and electromechanical equipment.

The SBR series is a half wave / speed up current rectifier type and is used when faster brake excitation is required compared to standard rectifiers. The SBR 440-1 includes a quick braking circuit option, approximately 400ms ±30% fast charging time and three service terminals for auxiliary devices such as fans, thermal probes or heaters.

Technical description
The SBR 440-1 converts AC input voltage into DC voltage for supplying an electromagnetic brake coil. The input / output voltage ratio for half-wave operation is approximately 0.445, meaning that a 230VAC input corresponds to approximately 102VDC output.

Suitable for motor electromagnetic brakes, industrial electric motors, lifting systems, production machinery, motion automation, geared motors with brakes and electromechanical installations requiring a DC brake rectifier.

Compatibility note
Replacement must be checked according to AC input voltage, required brake coil voltage and current, rectifier type, braking method and terminal wiring. For EMC compliance, O.E.G. states that a 0.22µF 440VAC Class X1 capacitor should be connected to VAC input terminals 1-2 when required.
