The SG90 360 degrees continuous servo motor is a compact micro continuous rotation servo based on the popular SG90 series. Unlike a standard 0-180 degrees positional servo, the continuous rotation version does not move to a specific angle, but rotates continuously clockwise or counterclockwise depending on the PWM signal. It is suitable for small robot vehicles, wheels, rotating mechanisms and educational microcontroller applications.
Technical description
The SG90 continuous servo typically operates from 4.8-6V DC and is controlled by a standard servo PWM signal. Around the 1.5ms centre pulse the motor stops, while shorter or longer pulses rotate it in one direction or the other. Speed changes according to the pulse offset from centre. Its low weight and compact size make it suitable for lightweight constructions.

Compatibility note
The SG90 360 degrees continuous servo is not a precision position servo. The control signal adjusts rotation direction and speed, not a specific angle. For applications requiring accurate 0-180 degrees positioning, a standard positional SG90 servo should be used. A separate 5V power supply is recommended when used with Arduino or other microcontrollers.
