A preamplifier using an IC capable of raising the low output of the cassette head to a level that will drive the TAPE IN input of a stereo preamplifier. It works well with any STEREO preamplifier. Very low distortion, high amplification factor and very good frequency response. Suitable power supply is the SMART KIT 1061. Operating voltage: 7-23V DC. Frequency response: 20Hz-40KHz. Max current: 20mA.
