The BPT-23CXW-1 is a BESTAR piezoelectric buzzer designed for audible signalling in electronic circuits, control panels, automation systems, alarms and low-power devices. It features a built-in generator, allowing it to produce an audible tone directly from a DC supply without the need for an external oscillator circuit. It operates over a wide 3–20V DC voltage range, with low 8mA current consumption, 3kHz resonant frequency and 80dB sound output at 0.3m. Wire leads provide simple connection, while its compact housing makes it suitable for integration into small electronic assemblies. Note: as this is a buzzer with an internal generator, it produces sound when DC voltage is applied. Intermittent operation can be achieved by switching the supply through a control circuit, transistor, relay or microcontroller.
