OEMSL-079B

The SL-079B is a compact blue strobe beacon operating from a 12VDC power supply with a current consumption of 150mA. It produces bright repeated flashes and is suitable for visual warning in alarm systems, security installations and automation circuits.

Technical description

The beacon operates at approximately 90 flashes per minute, providing a clearly visible indication of an alarm, fault or other warning condition. Its blue lens allows the visual signal to be identified immediately.

The 12VDC supply voltage allows connection to compatible alarm control panels, security power supplies, relay modules and electronic control circuits. Its 150mA current consumption makes it suitable for low-voltage installations, provided that the power output can supply the required current.

Its compact dimensions allow installation in locations with limited available space. The beacon has an approximate height of 43mm and a diameter of approximately 50mm.

Typical applications

Suitable for alarm systems, visual intrusion indication, automation panels, machinery, workshops, warehouses, retail premises, noisy environments and general 12VDC warning-signalling applications.

Installation note

Before connection, verify the correct polarity, supply voltage and available current capacity of the output. If the control-panel output cannot supply at least 150mA, a suitable auxiliary relay and external 12VDC power supply must be used.

Operating note

The SL-079B provides visual warning and does not replace an audible siren when the installation requires simultaneous visual and audible notification.
