The HYPERION DT-15W is a dual-technology motion detector combining passive infrared PIR detection and microwave detection. Dual technology helps reduce false alarms, as the detector can evaluate motion using two different detection methods. It offers up to 15m detection range, 90 degrees coverage angle, pulse counter and tamper protection.

Technical description

The DT-15W is a wired indoor detector with AND-OR operation, suitable for connection to wired alarm panel zones. The PIR + Microwave dual-technology operation makes it suitable for areas requiring higher detection stability than a standard PIR detector. It includes a mounting bracket for wall and ceiling installation, allowing easier positioning according to the room layout.

Compatibility note

The HYPERION DT-15W is a wired detector and requires cabling to an alarm control panel. It is not a wireless detector, does not include anti-masking and is not a PET / pet alley version. For correct operation, the maximum 2.1m installation height should be followed and a walk test should be performed after installation.
