The MIDLAND MA-25LK is a waterproof remote speaker microphone designed for portable two-way radios equipped with a 2-pin Kenwood connector. It combines an integrated microphone, speaker and PTT button, allowing the user to communicate without removing the radio from a belt, carrying case or working equipment.

Technical description

The MA-25LK features a compact and durable construction suitable for professional use in demanding operating conditions. Its integrated microphone provides clear voice transmission, while the built-in speaker allows incoming communications to be heard directly from the shoulder-mounted unit.

Transmission is activated through the PTT button. The speaker microphone does not support VOX operation, helping prevent unintended transmission caused by surrounding noise.

A rotating mounting clip allows the unit to be attached to the shoulder, lapel, belt or another suitable part of the user's clothing. The coiled cable provides freedom of movement and comfortable operation without requiring the radio to be moved.

An auxiliary earphone socket allows an optional earpiece, such as the MIDLAND EP21, to be connected for private listening to incoming communications.
