JKD100μF/250V

The JKD 100μF 250VAC is a motor start capacitor for single-phase AC motors, designed to provide high capacitance during motor starting and to be disconnected after the motor reaches operating speed.

Technical description

Rated capacitance is 100μF and rated voltage is 250VAC. It belongs to the CD60A family. This version is supplied with connection wires. The capacitor is intended for short-duration operation in the starting circuit and not for continuous connection after motor start.

Typical applications

Suitable for single-phase electric motors, compressors, pumps, refrigeration equipment and other applications using a separate motor start capacitor with matching capacitance and voltage.

Compatibility note

For replacement, verify the same 100μF capacitance or capacitance range, 250VAC voltage rating, dimensions and connection method. A motor start capacitor is not a substitute for a continuously rated motor run capacitor.
